Terms & Conditions
When making a booking with Alpine Therapy you are agreeing to the terms and conditions as stated below:
Cancellation Policy
A booking is confirmed once Alpine Therapy and the client have both agreed a date, time, duration and location for a treatment. Via phone or email.
If a cancellation is made more than 24 hours before a treatment, the client will not be charged.
If a cancellation is made within less than 24 hours of the treatment, the client will be expected to pay in full for their booked treatment.
This cancellation fee may be waived at Alpine Therapy’s discretion.
The cancellation fee must be paid within 1 day of the cancellation.
Alpine Therapy has the right to cancel a treatment without notice due to unforeseen circumstances or, if the therapist is taken ill. In any such instance a refund of any monies already paid will be made in full or an agreeable alternative offered.
Alpine Therapy has the right to cancel a treatment without notice if the room or environment is unsuitable for the treatment to be provided – the client will be expected to pay in full for their booked treatment.
Alpine Therapy has the right to cancel a treatment without notice if the client is intoxicated, or harassment occurs deemed to be physical, sexual, verbal or otherwise inappropriate. The full fee will be immediately due from the client.
Your Booking
Where a Booking is made for or on behalf of you or a group or where the Customer making the Booking is making a Booking for or on behalf of other Persons (rather than themselves), the Customer, Host and Property Manager making the Booking shall be deemed to do so on the basis that the persons or group are liable for that booking.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Customer is deemed to acknowledge these Terms and Conditions when accepting a quote and making a Booking, Therefore the clients receiving the booked treatment are liable for that booking.
Payment is due at the end of receiving your treatment. Parties, groups and large bookings may be asked to pay a deposit to secure booking.
Persons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the duration of the treatment.
All treatments are subject to the availability of your Qualified Therapist.
Services are well-being treatments. No physiotherapy or diagnosis and treatment of injuries is provided.
Bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please let Alpine Therapy know in advance if you have any special health or physical considerations.
You will be required to complete and sign a health record at the time of your consultation before your massage. This is also a requirement for insurance purposes.
Your therapist will arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled time for your massage, to set up and start your massage at the scheduled appointment time.
We attempt to allow for enough time for your therapist to travel to you. However, circumstances out of our control may occur at times which may result in your therapist arriving late. In the event that your therapist is held up you will be advised by telephone, and the length of your massage shall commence from the time your massage starts.
In the event that your therapist arrives at the designated property, and there is no-one home, they will stay for up to 10 minutes past the scheduled start time for your massage. If you have not arrived within this time frame then you forfeit your massage, and will still have to pay in full, the sum of your booking.
In the event that you are running late and are not ready to commence your massage at the scheduled time, your massage will still conclude at the scheduled finish time to allow our therapists to care equally for all of our clients. Unless agreed otherwise with your therapist.
Underwear must be worn at all times, throughout the duration of the massage, including the transition of the client onto and off of the massage table.
